In response to the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, it undertook nature-based solutions. This includes the revival of forest fruit tree species in SALT farms, cultivation of wild vegetable plants in indigenous kitchen gardens, and creation of seed banks to conserve agrobiodiversity.The organization promotes community stewardship of forests and natural resources, supports the construction of soil-based check dams near farm areas to enhance water recharge, and introduces improved chulha (cookstove) systems to reduce the dependency on firewood.Furthermore, PESCH promotes agro ecotourism centered on regionally significant produce like Tamenglong oranges and Naga king chilli, offering both economic and conservation benefits.
